Is anyone good at programming in C++? I really need help with hw that is due tomo for my class:

The low interest rates have caused a great influx of business for Ripemoff Home Loans Inc they have asked you to develop a program that will allow them to prepare an amortization report for each potential applicant. This program will given the interest rate, amount borrowed and the term of the loan produce a report that details the monthly payment and its makeup for the first payment. The program will have to printout the breakdown for each payment over the term of the loan.


It needs to be as easy as possible. Just printing it to cmd.exe

Shouldn't be that difficult. Did you create a flow chart? That alone is a big help to start you off instead of just reading the problem and writing it.

If you want to output just the first months payment, then just create a formula with interestrate (given), amtborrowed (get input from user), and term (get input from user).

If you want to output the monthly payment you will have to setup an array. Make sure you declare monthlypayment or whatever integer or float as an array. I'm sorry but I don't have any of my C++ books here at school...I took that course 2 years ago.

I don't know if I helped you out much, but that is the approach I would take.

i have used visual basic before but never c++ so it is kinda new

Is your concentration Computer Science? I took Pascal, VB, C, C++, Assembly Language w/ Intel Processors, HTML (of course), Java, and a couple others.

When you learn C or C++, every other language will take no time to learn.

naw my concentration is Business Informational Systems. Pretty much a bachlor's to be a system analyst and stuff like that. Damn dude you took assembly language? that is crazy... I hate programing

Watch it there. You need to lighten up and have a decent sense of humor before you go insulting people. You came onto this forum with an off the wall, and rather unreasonable request, you should be grateful that anyone was kind enough to help you, you should have expected more responses like otf's. The fact is that if you do not learn to do your own homework and EARN your degree as the rest of us have, then it is just a peice of toilet paper to hang on the wall and will ultimately do you no good at all.

hey thanks bud, but noone did help me i did it myself. Also this class has nothing to do with my degree, so if i never learn anything from this class it will not hurt me in the long run, so why don't you learn what you are talking about before you make some smart ass comments. Also what sense of humor he was being a dick, if he wasent then in the internet world he shoulda used /sarcasm or something of that nature to show he was joking around, but since it is the internet kinda hard to tell when someone is joking if they don't tell ya. And look since i posted this i learned that if i have any questions to ask Jaxian because he knows his stuff.

And jaxian we had lab today for the class so i thought he would go over it but he didn't
