make the bastards rot in jail, stop spending so much money to keep them alive and let them eat as much as they need to survive and no more. I'm sure that would make a lot of people think twice, except me, i get paid to kill
there is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do

I remember reading that it costs roughly over 20,000 to keep 1 man/woman prisoned for 1 year. I will look up the estimated number tonight when I get home from work. That's our tax money.

True, but the numbers are taken based on averages. Yes maybe there are a couple of people who fucked up real bad in the military and were thrown into a brig (prison), but that doesn't effect the averages by that much.

Yea that’s how it should be. Most people in jail get access to a TV, courts, games, hot meals, etc. Good deterrence huh.

Capitol punishment is the one issue that I am undecided on. While part of me says that it is wrong to end human life in an act of revenge the other part of me questions why we should let a person who commited heinous crimes live? In reply to the cost of keeping a person in prison I have heard figures that show that after the numerous years in court and after all the appeals have been used by those on death row the cost of this is signicantly more expensive than sentencing a man to life in prison. However, in certain circumstances I feel very strongly that the person who commited the crimes should be given the death penalty as a retribution for the crimes commited. However, I feel that this penalty should be used sparingly and only under the most extreme situations.

Well what about the person putting the commited person to death? Isn't that murder as well? It is morally wrong to do so.
