 |   Kelsey Smith is dead!! Last Saturday, an 18 year old girl, fresh out of high school was kidnapped. Kelsey Smith was abducted in an Overland Park Target Store Parking Lot. Her stalker followed her into the store. He exited the store 4 1/2 minutes before she did. The kidnapper waited by her car. The man forced Kelsey into his 1970 pick-up and drove off. Sunday-Wednesday, Kelsey's family and hundreds of volunteers begins the search for 18 year-old, Kelsey Smith. A website was started, FindKelsey.com, 750 tips were reported durning the time Kelsey was abducted because of it. On Wednesday afternoon, police locked on to Kelsey's cell phone signal. Police and hundreds of people began to search around Longview Lake. Many people feared the worst. Only 30 minutes into the search, Kelsey Smith is found, dead. Thursday, police charge Edwin R. Hall with 1st degree murder and aggrivated kidnapping. Later that night, a candle lite vidual was held at Kelsey's old High School. People wore light-blue ribbons, Kelsey's favorite color, and they also released thousands of light-blue ballons. Kelsey's family is now seeking the death penalty for Edwin Hall, the crazed man who strangled Kelsey Smith to death. His MySpace page, which was shut-down between 10pm and 6am Thursday, said he liked to kill little children and hurt small animals. Edwin is married and has a 4 year-old son. All across the Kansas City area, Kelsey Smith is being remembered.
