| I think the research doesn't cover all bases. I think the study shows that bein "psyched" makes people more analytical and able to make a decision. Anything that causes blood pressure and heart rate to increase, anything that pumps adrenaline into your system will cause you to be more analytical, better able to prioritize and better able to take action. When i work i work on adrenalin. Sounds silly for an advertiser, but the fact is that i am an exited and enthusiastic person about anything i do. When i come to work, when i am faced with a problem, when i meet with clients, when i have to pitch an idea. I get psyched. And it makes me good at what i do. I can understand the basic thesis that an exited state sharpens your senses and gives you focus. But i do not think that anger is the only way to achieve this.
