The 5 Biggest Pricks in Congress
A Gallup poll last month put Congress' approval rating at 29 percent, which ties it with the President and puts both exactly two points behind AIDS in terms of popularity. This raises the question: Why does America loathe its elected officials so much?

Forgetting that whole “war” thing for a minute, you could make the argument that it's because most members of Congress are arrogant pricks who would rather toss Rosie O'Donnell's salad after a summer hike than do anything remotely kind, thoughtful or constructive for America. Cracked.com has singled out five of the most stubborn, abrasive, inconsiderate pricks on Capitol Hill that you should be keeping your eye on:

I like how this was put! #5

While some lawmakers like to develop a consistent world view and apply it to their governing duties, James Sensenbrenner enjoys a far more inventive approach to lawmaking—one that evidently involves a blindfold, a dartboard and a friend willing to spin him around.

Oh, I like Cheney's latest excuse why he doesn't have to abide by executive orders.

See, he's not in the Executive branch. Since he's the 'President' of the Senate, he's part of the Legislative branch.

Quick, someone call a constititional law professor!!!!!

A quick civics quiz: Is the vice president part of the executive branch? You might think the answer is obvious, but apparently not to Vice President Dick Cheney.
The man a heartbeat away from the Oval Office asserts that some rules that apply to everyone else in the executive branch do not apply to him.

Cheney has refused to comply with a request from the National Archives to hand over classified documents. The vice president's office insists that, unlike every other employee of the executive branch, that rule does not include him and his staff.

ABC News: With Cheney, Almost Everything Is Secret

The guy is seriously scary.

Norman Mineta Confirms Dick Cheney Was in PEOC Before Pentagon Attack Contradicting 9/11 Report

Former Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta answered questions from members of 9/11 Truth Seattle.org about his testimony before the 9/11 Commission report.

Mineta says Vice President Cheney was "absolutely" already there when he arrived at approximately 9:25 a.m. in the PEOC (Presidential Emergency Operations Center) bunker on the morning of 9/11. Mineta seemed shocked to learn that the 9/11 Commission Report claimed Cheney had not arrived there until 9:58-- after the Pentagon had been hit, a report that Mineta definitively contradicted.

Norman Mineta revealed that Lynn Cheney was also in the PEOC bunker already at the time of his arrival, along with a number of other staff.

Bush and Cheney on 911 interviewed behind closed doors, refused to take an oath, refused to allow tape recordings and ensured no transcript be kept but they tell us (citizens) they can spy on who ever they choose. Tell Congress to do their job as they pledged to the American people and God to do! Impeach and Indict this administration for TREASON! Remember any PEOPLE are responsible for the regime they are willing to put up with!

Republicans love traitors and criminals too much. Bush will not be removed from offrice. Therefore Impeachment is a waste of time. Nancy Pelosi knows this. I hope that the next Justice Department will go after Bush and Cheney when they leave office for crimes they committed while in office.

When I first read the title to this thread, I thought it was in reference to some sort bizzare penis-size contest among congressmen and senators.

Metaphorically speaking, I think you were correct.
