| Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics? |

And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving." 3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity. 2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God. 1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian. |

Morality is not contingent on religion to exist. Therefore religion only detracts from the purity of morality. |

Though it is not of the fundamental faith that sees a deity suffering from multiple personality disorder, with an insecure ego... Still even in these ten points that do show forth fundamentalism in all its shortcomings, they also do show again that faith at all is unreasonable. I gotta go with this: "To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible. That is a quotation by Thomas Aquinas." OD

Level up: 52%, 44 Points needed | | So long This forum has become very anti-God and cruel towards Christianity in general. I have had enough of it and will not be apart of it any longer.
God bless.

Still I find room for the integrity of saying that there are doubts and questions, frustrations and disappointments in the journey. And to be truthful to know the exhiliration of a life lived by faith, I am pretty darned sure these days that we must feel all that faith offers. Faith is not faith if it offers certainty and so we essentially must to experience a fuller faith, admit to the disparity of our heart and the reasonable minds of others, even of our own reasonable minds. At least if it can be said of us that we are reasonable! J, this forum is a wonderful place to grow and to love and to sustain our hearts in that love. Love for one another. Afterall it says of faith and hope and love that the greatest of these is love. So what if faith is questioned or even seemingly attacked? Perhaps that just makes the love shine brighter. God is love. Never did it say God is faith. Perhaps we value faith too much. And perhaps the posts that threaten faith are really written in love. Afterall, J...think of this. If one really believes that faith and religion are destructive, then challenging those spiritual mindsets is a challenge love has taken up. And if you do truly in all your heart believe that faith in God and the parameters of religion bring peace and well-being to man, then challenge that unbelief. Not with your faith. But with your love. I hope you stay. And I hope to read more from you in the days ahead. Either way, God speed and here is a song I want you to have. It is MY song. I have needed this song over and over in my life. Even did it minister to me a year ago when I confessed disbelief for a short while. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<obje...mbed></object> OD
