I remember her well. I also remember that she has enjoyed secret service protection for her entire life even though it's been 40 years since her husband was president. Imagine, 40 years of getting her car doors opened at tax payer expense.

A few years ago I watched a special on the US Secret Service. There was a segment on Lady Bird Johnson and it showed Secret Service men opening her car doors and basically being servents to her. This pissed me off because I thought: who the hell would kidnap Lady Bird Johnson? Over 30 years after her husband was president, she is politically useless to anyone. Why are the taxpayers paying for this?

That is the basis of my opinion.
