Buddha Boy

Ram Bahadur Bomjan, or known by his Buddhist name as Palden Dorje, also sometimes referred to as "Buddha Boy" and the new Buddha by his "followers", allegedly sat and meditated under a tree for I believe around 10 months without consuming food or water. It is a part of his self-proclaimed attempt at a six-year meditative endeavor to achieve Buddhahood.

I just recently heard about him and I've been investigating this today and information about him seems to be elusive at best. Which makes me shed a lot of doubt upon this story's validity.

The Discovery Channel aired a show about him, including a recording the Discovery Channel conducted filming him constantly for 96 hours. During this non-stop four day recording, he did not eat, drink, or move. Thereby allegedly astounding scientists. But to this moment I am unable to find this video or really much information about it.

He disappeared for a while and now he is allegedly meditating in an underground 'bunker' set up for him, in an attempt I guess to achieve a location more at peace.

More information can be read here with more links (although the extent of information on him is very limited to say the least): Ram Bahadur Bomjon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and to say the least, the amount of evidence on this individual is very limited. Personally I don't know what to think, but I hold highly in doubt his claims to inedia.

But even if such extraordinary claims are incorrect which science and common sense dictate, it is still phenomenal that he is able to maintain a meditative state without moving at least during the entirety of the daytime; something which has been observed.

Just thought I should share this with you guys and I was wondering your thoughts.

Quite amazing!! Sure does raise a lot of questions as to how someone could possibly survive that amount of time without food or water...Do let me know if you find the video!
