  • who no one can seem to find or catch
  • who some people doubt is alive
  • who some people suspect doesn't exist
  • whose picture is EVERYWHERE, to inspire fear, hate, and subservience
...is not called Emmanuel Goldstein.
He is called Osama bin Laden.

I see very little difference between The Bush Administration and the Republican Party and Osama Bim Laden and the Wahhabi Moslim Religion.

No matter how much you hate Bush the fact remains he was elected by the American people, not once but twice! Rightly or wrongly he has gone to great lengths to help Afghanistan and Iraq take major steps towards democracy.

Bin Laden has never been elected by anyone. And he has nothing to offer except misery, grinding oppression and death.

I do not call slaughtering people for no reason or for that matter oil, choose your own argument, promoting democracy. I do regret the ignorance of the American People. Okay the double ignorance. Osama Bin Laden has world wide support because George Bush has made him an Islamic Hero. Hell you can get Osama Bin Laden action figures. What does Osama Bin Laden offer the Moslim world? I am sure you do not have a clue. I know I do not. Simplistic views like yours is why the U.S. is in the mess we are in.
