Level up: 38%, 121 Points needed | | Misleading Propaganda about Islam I hear it repeated time and time again on all strains of news and talk media. "The Sunni's attacked us on 9/11." This is a blatant false lie. Osama Bin Laden is and always has been a Wahhabi Moslim. The Saud Family and the Bin Laden Families are Wahhabi Moslims. The terrorists who attacked the U.S.A. were Wahhabi Moslims. Wahhabi Moslims split from the Sunni's centeuries ago. Why does our government and media perpetuate this blatant lie, because it gives a thread of connection to Iraq. There is no connection to Iraq. Wahhabism was not allowed to be practiced in Iraq under Saddam Hussien. |

It has been made clear on many occasions that the administration and the biggest backers of the war in Congress simply don't understand nuance.
Sunni? Shia? Kurds? These are different peoples with different cultures? REALLY? Why didn't we know that?
This was brought home most clearly by Trent Lott, when he said:
“It’s hard for Americans, all of us, including me, to understand what’s wrong with these people,” he said. “Why do they kill people of other religions because of religion? Why do they hate the Israeli’s and despise their right to exist? Why do they hate each other? Why do Sunnis kill Shiites? How do they tell the difference? They all look the same to me.“
I contend that there is a significant percentage of people in this country, and a significant percentage of people in Congress and the Bush Administration who, until very recently (and maybe STILL DO), think/thought that anyone of Middle Eastern origin knows and thinks like everyone ELSE of Middle Eastern origin... and is therefore an anti-American terrorist.
This ignorance and arrogance is a big part of why we have failed so miserably in Iraq.
We had no idea what we were getting into, and worse, we didn't care.

Level up: 18%, 31 Points needed | | In the very beginning Bush was not suppose to have went
into Iraq without Congress approval, but he went anyways
into battle, and now its being said in Washington that Bush
did not need to have went to Congress....that's crap.
So now you are saying (Billyobama) the Wahhabi Muslims
is the cause of 9-11? Well What about the Bush's family
ties with the Suddi Royal family, and if that's the case
Bush have ties with the Wahhabis.
Stop forgetting the friendship that Osama,Saddam, and the
Bush family had in the past. Now don't that make the Bush
family involved with the so-called Wahhabi group that you
calling terrorist?
Everytime anyone tries to sidestep these facts they are in
a state of denial. |

Which doesn't excuse Bush's mistaken identity - but after all the man is rather daft. |

Points: 14,720, Level: 78 | Level up: 79%, 130 Points needed | | I don't know if the terrorists were Wahhabis or not but they were definitely not Iraqis, or Sunnis (and Wahhabis and Sunnis are different sects entirerly) Al-Qaeda leaders "felt that the nationality that would not ring a bell when it came to security screening at that time would be Saudis," the Saudi official told reporters in Washington this week, on condition that he not be identified. Fifteen of the 19 terrorists who killed more than 3,000 people on Sept. 11 by crashing hijacked planes were Saudis. Easy Visas Made Saudis Best Bet for 9/11
The Sunnis had nothing to do with 9/11.The Sunnis are insurgents, in Iraq, that don't want us there. (I wonder why)
We didn't go into Saudi Arabia, where we knew the actual attackers organization was located, because they sell their oil in US currency and are in business with Cheney.
We went into Iraq because Saddam started selling his oil in Euros in 2000.
This war is all about oil and preserving our domainace in the world economy.
The Saudi Arabian Government has refused to let us go into their country to look for terrorists and we went along with it? An awful lot about this deal stinks, the details of which are so covered in bullshit, that we, the people, may never know the real truth.

Please do some research. |
