Woman Gets 300-Page iPhone Bill - AOL Money & Finance

Somehow, I knew this would happen. It is a good reason why I don't own an IPhone. I don't need one.

And who would have thought that the IPhone was just a toy? Thank God I only use a cellphone, and I don't use it that much. Why get an IPhone when I can use my cellphone to send text messages to an email address, and check my email when necessary.

It is not like the IPhone is for the birds, but .....

I heard, after you pay for the phone, you have to sign these huge contracts, so that at the end of 3 years you end up paying around $6000.

My son told me he met a girl who camped out in line for 3 days to get one. I told him he met someone who needs to get a job.

Our society's obsession with needing to have the latest technology will be the undoing for most. We tend to buy these items before we really understand all we need to know about them- all in the name of bragging that "Look what I've got"! A cell phone is just as good as one of these darn things; but because it is the "latest thing on the market" how many people do you suppose are going to rush out to buy one, only to report another horror story?

Haha, I like how she used the iPhone commercial theme song while she was flipping through her 300 page phone bill on her video she made. Now watch Apple sue her for copyright infringement!

Like PT Barnum used to say: "There's a sucker born every minute."

People who bought those IPhones and used them like toys know better now.

Thank God for a $25 cell phone bill.

Actually, I worked for Cingular before it became "the new AT&T". $500 per month is not a price they would be charging for service. That amount, for one phone line, is not an amount they would charge unless you were doing things you didn't sign up to do.

$100 for the IPhone bill might be reasonable for the consumer with the largest amounts of use if they were to sign up for the correct programs.

Anyone who is paying $6000 over the course of a contract is a moron.
