Hmmm...

I wonder if the 20 other applications that have been accepted will be processed or not.

Even if they managed to keep it stopped, a gay couple HAS already legally married and that cannot be taken from them.

If it was legally issued, it can not be reversed. That would be in violation of
Article I, Section 10 of the US Constitution banning ex facto laws.

there was nothing illegal about this marriage

the marriages in San Francisco were illegal - they were certainly morally and ethically right- but, illegal, nonetheless

Entirely correct.

No matter what happens, TWO states, so far, have performed LEGALLY BINDING same sex marriages.

Nothing can change that.
