popcaploader.dll
Just a heads up and maybe I might also get some advice, if anyone has dealt with this virus.

I recently was infected with a virus, popcaploader.dll. I found it scanning with my provider's security suite. I deleted it there. Then I restore back to July 2nd. I then checked the objects in internet options and it showed the poploader as damaged so I threw out the whole thing. Now my secutiry suite is loading funny and doesn't seem to scan properly. The load page is just grey with a number on it. I called my provider and they told me to reload the suite. I deleted it and reloaded it twice and its still a mess. Today I'm suppose to talk to the makers of the software for the security suite. Anyone dealt with this one or have advice?

Yes.
The only thing I have a problem with is the Security suite. It doesn't load right and I suspect its not scanning for viruses or spyware. The provider referred me to the suiite's software maker. They are suppose to call me back. Right now I'm just staying on sites I know are safe. The performance is ok now, just no protection other than my firewall.

I ended up ditching my Cox security suite and I'm now going with AVG. Got some good advice from Marky on the Expertise forum.

Got check it out. (Ridin owns this site too, so join if you'd like!)
