Wow! Awesome stuff. . .

When I was in high school, I had the opportunity one summer to study and jam with Milt Hinton as part of a summer jazz program at Skidmore College in upstate NY (I play the saxophone - semi-professionally). Watching your video reminded me of him - I'm sure that Victor Wooten was influenced by Hinton, as most young jazz bassists nowadays have been. . .

Anyway, here is a clip of Hinton in action, a few years before he died. I'll never forget the influence of people like him in my life!
