same sex marriage
In the world today homosexuals are looked at by many people to be the underdog or those we should tolerate and protest for. I am writing this, however, to convey to the reader that gay marriage/relationships are just as heinous of an act as stealing or adultery.

p.s. all my arguments during the course of this debate are based off of my religion of christianity.

since you're just cutting and pasting the same 'information' and creating new threads with it, I'll just repeat what I wrote on your other thread that is exactly the same as this one:

I'm sure you mean 'based ON' and not 'based off of' your idea of Christianity (which is a word we capitalize in our church).

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Maybe he is from one of "those" countries. Homosexual acts are still illegal in a surprising number of countries.

Lets debate this. Do you believe the Bible strictly prescribes every tangible, as well as intangible aspect of society? Including slavery, economic exchange, and those acts of privacy that, are also protected by various passsage within the doctrinal religion you quote?

Just curious do you drink coffee? Does your 'religion of christianity' include, per chance, the Bible? I'll be patient, I swear...

Gay relationships are as bad as stealing and adultery?
Hmm.

In the case of stealing, the person from whom something is stolen is a victim.

In the case of adultery, the person whose spouse is stepping out is the victim, and it can be argued that the stepper is also a victim.

Who is the victim in a gay relationship? I'm curious to know, because I'm in a gay relationship, and neither of us feels victimized. Well, I don't feel victimized... I'll double check with my wife when she gets home to see how she feels.

Without anyone coming to harm, it makes it pretty tough to say that gay relationships are as bad as stealing and adultery. But I'll give you a chance to clarify your viewpoint.

Oh, and I am opposed to capital punishment.

How generous of you!

In God's eyes all sins are equal, and this includes the sins of homosexuality and lying, for example, about one's marital status.
