| same sex marriage In the world today homosexuals are looked at by many people to be the underdog or those we should tolerate and protest for. I am writing this, however, to convey to the reader that gay marriage/relationships are just as heinous of an act as stealing or adultery. p.s. all my arguments during the course of this debate are based off of my religion of christianity. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| since you're just cutting and pasting the same 'information' and creating new threads with it, I'll just repeat what I wrote on your other thread that is exactly the same as this one: I'm sure you mean 'based ON' and not 'based off of' your idea of Christianity (which is a word we capitalize in our church). *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance. Bigotry is a social disease. Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage." | |||||||||||||||||||||

| WTF does this have to do with capital punishment. Unless this guy is trying to say gays sould be killed? If at first you don’t succeed – try, try again and then quit. There’s no sense in making a damned fool of yourself. – W.C. Fields | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Maybe he is from one of "those" countries. Homosexual acts are still illegal in a surprising number of countries. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Countries, like those beacons of freedom and hope that we call Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, and the U.A.E.... -le sigh- Obama is a Socialist, racist Muslim who will tax us to death and McCain is a senile warmonger who will start WW3- Failtards. "Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you don't have much of a vision for the future or you're not ready to articulate it."-Sen. John McCain, February 2000. I miss the old McCain... | |||||||||||||||||||||

Just curious do you drink coffee? Does your 'religion of christianity' include, per chance, the Bible? I'll be patient, I swear...

Hmm. In the case of stealing, the person from whom something is stolen is a victim. In the case of adultery, the person whose spouse is stepping out is the victim, and it can be argued that the stepper is also a victim. Who is the victim in a gay relationship? I'm curious to know, because I'm in a gay relationship, and neither of us feels victimized. Well, I don't feel victimized... I'll double check with my wife when she gets home to see how she feels. Without anyone coming to harm, it makes it pretty tough to say that gay relationships are as bad as stealing and adultery. But I'll give you a chance to clarify your viewpoint. Oh, and I am opposed to capital punishment.
