Level up: 26%, 19 Points needed | | tell me if this is right. I was giong to try out for the baseball team in my school because it souns awesome. I've always been into baseball and was on a team in Colorado. So, I was outside throwing the ball back and forth to each other when Mr. Cormier, the baseball coach, told me what a great arm I had. I told him I wanted to join a team. You know what he told me? SOFTBALL started aroun spring ! I'm not really into softball. There are a bunch of different rules and pitches then in baseball, which I'm way better at and know more about. So, what do you think? |

I think you should be allowed to try out for the Baseball team and if you are
good enought to make the team you should be allowed to play.
I know School sports are a little different but...
I ran into this last year signing my daughter up for little league. She was 8 and never played t-ball so I had to put her in softball, she was very disappointed. She is very good, the coach didn't belive it was her first year. She is 9 this year, she doesn't want to play softball she wants to play baseball (last year there were 3 girls playing little league which I did not know when I signed her up, I won't be taking no for an answer this year)

Tia, you go for it kiddo! I am sure if you explain it to your parents in an adult manner, they will back you!!

So, what do you think? | I am one of those guys that remain skeptial about women playing male sports but not baseball I think they should be allowed to play that. I am in ways against women playing football I think its to violent. What I find to be ridiculous is that women are allowed to play football and men are not allowed to play womens volleyball, i tend to find something wrong with that. It seems that if you are a woman you can get away with just about anything.

Level up: 26%, 19 Points needed | | There's not professional womans football, if I have my facts right, and there is professional men's volley-ball. Woman don't get away with everything. When I was twelve, in Colorado, I couldn't go through the neighborhood because I was a girl, even though my older brother could. They said " You're too young!" even though when my brother was ten he got more rights then I had at the time. |
