Anyone else looking forward to Tim Burton's next masterpiece? Can't go wrong with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, IMO. Too bad no Danny Elfman, but I like the Sweeney Todd music as is. Can't wait to hear Mr. Depp sing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sweeney Todd - Im surprised that Depp will be able to sing it ... it's NOT easy music.

A HIGH school did Sweeney Todd??? OMG That must have been DREADFUL.

I saw it twice of Broadway - the original production, and the revival with Patty LaPone ... both INCREDIBLE.

Wow! I wish I'd seen the original broadway production. I've heard that Johnny Depp actually has an amazing voice, and it was just a matter of training it to be strong enough for the role. Can't wait for this one to come out! I disagreed with the commentary on that site, not just another Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie (not that that wouldn't be fine), this one is a story that is made to be realized by them.
