Well, this isn't really an introduction
but I didn't know where else to put it.

Just wanted to show you guys my lastest project. It took about 12 hours worth of work, and is based on a painting by my sister.

Actually, I plan to sell it. If I can't sell it, I'm going to give it to my niece as a wedding present. She's getting married in a year, and has the original water color this was based on.

I posted the original on that same flickr site. Check it out. I think I did a pretty good rendition, considering the limits of glass.

That is beautiful! Well done!!!

Oh, I think it should be the wedding present...it will become a family heirloom. How meaningful!!! Maybe you can write something about how the sunflower follows the light of the sun and how the marriage too must follow the light of the Divine. I don't know, just thinking.
