Level up: 14%, 7 Points needed | | My Almost Comprehensible Rant of the Day Part 4 Ok guys heres another round of ponders about Scientology.
1.How did it come to be? And what is it about?
2.Why are so many hollywood celebs into it? Is it an escape from reality?
Is it a sense of freedom from Christianity and other religions that may have affected some of them as children? Like Madonna, Sinead O' Connor and Marilyn Manson, who were so damaged by the Catholic Church they basically built careers off of bashing the Church and ruffling their feathers
3.Are they really that deep into it or do they just want to be typical different, unique Hollywood? Are they just trying too hard to be different like always?
4.Why is Tom Cruise getting so uptight about things these days? Someone farted on the set of his new movie during a moment of silence and I heard Tom Cruise went ape shit and had the guy fired.
Then you had the "Matt your so glib" comment. Where he tried to tell Matt Lauer that Brooke Shields wasn't suffering from depression and that the drugs she took weren't needed. As if Tom Cruise is a doctor now or something. He knows everything I guess.
The microphone water squirt incident in which he held the guys arm and refused to let him go and then scolded him like a child.
5.Do you think Scientology's belief in silent birth is ok? Or just impossible because theres too much pain a woman goes through during birth
6.Do you think Scientology is just as guilty as the claims against some Christian faith churches on the fact that Scientologists think homosexuality is wrong?
7.If so then why are people quick to associate that with Christianity and crucify them so to speak, yet Scientology looks down on homosexuals and no one says anything. Is it because of all the celebrity members?
8.Do you see Scientologists gathering inside some abandoned building and killing themselves in some ritual? During a meteor shower?
9.Is it me or Tom Cruise is getting more and more kooky as the years go
by?
IE:Jumping on Oprah's couch because apparently being with Katie Holmes
is the greatest experience on earth. I wonder if he jumped on the couch when his kid was born
10.Why don't they believe in things like chemical inbalances that cause depression and other mental illnesses? Was Tom Cruise wrong for assuming he knows everything about everything and that Brooke Shields, who by the way suffered from depression after she had a baby was wrong in his eyes about her own illness?
11.Lastly, do you think Scientology is a cult? Given the information you know abot it so far. The fact that they believe in aliens. The fact that they worship a guy that wrote science fiction novels. Do you find it weird that they worship a science fiction novelist?
12.Finally, if Jesus came back today do you think Scientologists would be afraid of him?
Sidenote:Scientologists use oxygen to stay young.
If you wonder why Scientology is so kooky(if you feel that way)
Check out some of its members and you'll know why
Jenna Elfman
Kirstie Alley
Tom Cruise
John Travolta
Elvis's Wife

Seems to me you stopped thinking long ago for sure. | Ali, in one of his posts, MOT said he is a high school student.
Read back over his posts and you will see it is probably true.
You have to applaud him if he has actually come here to learn. But one of the first things he needs to learn is how to ask a question without implying his own false premise.

His attempt to 'insult' Tristan here, showed just how young he actually is.
Honestly though from reading his posts, learning anything was the last thing he came here for. From the posts I've read of his, he's here more to play word games and post rhetoric. |

I think you're a witch who needs to stop thinking you know so much." I wouldn't even begin to take time to correct your rant-of-the-day.
I don't claim to "know so much" - but I certainly know enough to grasp when a post is nothing more than a rant, with opinions being posed as questions. I'm surprised that your high school teachers don't stop that kind of disingenuous writing. Perhaps you're only a freshman, and the teachers will still have time to correct your tendency towards dishonest writing.
By the way, your insult was noted and dismissed as juvenile and ineffective. It seemed easier to simply pretend that you were being helpful. I was insulting YOU ... genius. |
