Missouri Band Makes History
Well, I bet some of you have wondered where i have been for a while?
Well, i think i'll tell you;

Our Marching Band was practicing for the biggest marching band competition in the country; The 2007 Bands of America Grand National Championships. Last year was our first and this year in 2007, only our 2nd year, we wanted to leave an everlasting impression.
7 Missouri marching bands were selected to compete this year, being invited to perform takes a lot of hard work. You have to be a world class, high performing band for so many years before you get to go. Well, in 2006 we achived that and now we were back again for another shot at winning.
November 15-18 i think it was, we went to Idianapolis, Indiana. A 12 hour bus ride. We had been rehearsing since July and we could not wait to go out strong this year.
The day of competition arrived and we were nervous. In Prelims performance we achived 28th place. That may sound bad to some of you, but in this competiton that is hard to do, especially if it's only your 2nd year. The Top 33 bands went on to Semi-Finals, and we were going on. The next day Semi-finals began, again, we were NERVOUS, only like 3 times as bad as before. So our semi-finals performance was over. At the end of the day, we earned 26th place, sadly not good enough for finals. Although we walked away proud being the first ever Missouri High School marching band to make it this far into BOA competition. We were the first missouri band to make semi-finals, and next year, we want to go all the way.

That's were i have been the past <insert # here> months
