Personally, I think was MLB's reluctance to actively police the sport that has brought us to this.I think all players mentioned as having used steroids or HGH should be either banned from the sport after trial; and MLB should be made to cancel the next two seasons.

That wasn't directed at you personally, H80. But I truly believe that when dealing with professional athletes; you will get more attention when you hit them in the bankbooks. MLB was criminally neglegent in refusing to police their sport.
Now, the reason I mentioned trial earlier would be to offset any problems with HOF inductions. There can be no more Pete Rose or Chicago BlackSox situations; and trials would have avoided these messes.
