What is the add-on for the wysiwyg part of our text? I like how our bold and colors and sizes are just "there" when we type them instead of the B's I's and stuff.
After having my login borked, Im actually curious how this stuff works now. I didn't even think about this software until I was "borked". Now I know more about Vbulletin than I care to admit. I'm tempted to start my own site. Seems to be rather easy.

The wysiwyg interface of vBulletin is actually quite old... Newer technologies these days allows for a complete visual of the text your are typing and its format. So if I were to bold this sentence, I would not see the bold tags, it would appear to be bold in this form.

I'll look into wysiwyg editors, and find out if its feasible to integrate a new editor into vBulletin..

And yes, vBulletin is VERY easy to start up with the installation software. However getting a forum going is a completely different ball-game Also, this forum is VERY customized..

I've noticed...I don't see the bold tags on this site, but I do on others. I thought it was something you did. And I do notice other "touches" that set this site apart from some of the others I've happened across. I've seen this format before, but I never thought about the "how"s of it before.

Search Engine Optimization. There are just TOO many features to list..

Look at the address bar in your browser, notice that the link has search engine friendly keywords (off-topic, vbseo) Also, meta-tags are unique across the entire site (based on content). Again, much too many features to list here!!

Without vBSeo, our friends Google and Yahoo would have a much more difficult time spidering our pages when all the links are based on forum/post-id's, and not relevant keywords.
