Merry Christmas! | I became Swedish just the other day on another debate site. Go figure. I think it fits me though, so I'm keeping it.

Level up: 42%, 180 Points needed | | A Christmas Poem
I listen to the Christmas Music 'round this time of year
The songs are filled with joy to all, and happiness, and cheer
The music wafting through the air, familiar, pleasant sounds
By Artists toiling eagerly, their talent knows no bounds
The music recalls times long passed that make a life worth living
A Season for rememberance, and thoughtfullness, and giving
Of little children filled with hope, and trying to be good
So that their every wish will be fulfilled, they know they should
Our prayers go out to those who do not have what they desire
Where fortune looked upon them with disdain, their needs are dire
Hopefully, within the year, they'll have what others do
And join the throngs of well-wishers, and merrymakers too
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year |

Thanks Ali and the same to you and yours!
Incidentally I believe Hannukah is now ended (David Henry could confirm that) and so is the Festival of Eid, so that just leaves Christmas!
Does anybody know anybody who actually celebrates Kwanzaa or even knows what it is?
Does anybody in Africa know??

What does it celebrate and where/how did it originate?
Does anybody actually celebrate Kwanzaa, even in Africa, or is it a just a token "other religion"?
