My central problem [with Hillary Clinton’s candidacy] is that the next American president will very likely face another big bad thing, a terrible day, or days, and in that time it will be crucial—crucial—that our nation be led by a man or woman who can be, at least for the moment and at least in general, trusted. Mrs. Clinton is the most dramatically polarizing, the most instinctively distrusted, political figure of my lifetime. Yes, I include Nixon. Would she be able to speak the nation through the trauma? I do not think so. And if I am right, that simple fact would do as much damage to America as the terrible thing itself.” —Peggy Noonan “Sen. Clinton—the incredible shrinking candidate—seems at times almost a bystander at her husband’s campaign, merely playing a somewhat more active role than she did in ‘92... The [Bill-Hillary] merger is working against her. Voters are wondering for which Clinton they will be voting when they pull the lever... As Bill campaigns all over all the time, Americans are wondering, ‘Whose presidency will it be, anyway?”’

Did you which Bush was being elected in 2000??

I think it's great that Hillary would have such an excellent advisor available at all times - bit like Karl Rove was for Bush.

Face it - you don't like Hillary and nothing will change your mind.

Yeah I agree with you 100% Did you get to see her in NH during the debates yesterday?? She was put under pressure by Obama and Edwards and she was absolutely furious!! I couldn't stop laughing! Now what would happen if she was put under pressure as a President?? That is where I am very scared..

Me either, but I have no problem with a woman being President. I think it's a great idea. But not Hilary for pete's sake.

Had I been of age I would have voted for Mondale/Ferraro.
