Does that not remind you of the late-Tammy Faye Bakker back in the days when she was married to Jim Bakker, and that scandal came to light in the 1980's?

She didn't cry but she did well up and appeared to be really depressed.

When I saw it I thought that would be the end for her. But it seems like Hillary's show of emotion attracted tremendous empathy from female voters, for whom the odd tear is more acceptable than it would be from a man.

Even Pat Robertson was sympathetic to her plight (before the NH result) and said " regardless of your politics you have to feel for Clinton at a personal level". He's not well-known as a Clintonista!

So I decided my assessment of Hillary was too male-oriented, and overlooking the fact that women see many things differently from men.

That's another reason why I'd like to see Hillary win the presidency - to see how a woman would approach the job differently from a man.

I'd be very interested to hear other womens' opinions about Hillary's display of emotion and whether it affected their opinion of her, and how a woman might tackle the Presidency different from a man.

Maybe this can answer the question about the polls. Sometimes the polls don't mean squat.
