Women's Issues
I think an appropriate forum to add here at the DtT would be one for "Women's Issues"...

This could include feminist progress, the practice in other nations of female circumcision, the way men and women fair in the marketplace, the home...

Perhaps the abortion debate could be here as well.

I came across a heartbreaking disgusting picture on the world wide web.



The above shirt is in a toddler's size!!!

I would hope no mother could ever let her child wear something like that! But I wonder if our society does in other ways sponsor that "piece of meat" attitude that girl's grow up thinking about their own value and their own bodies.

It is time for our culture to grow up to save the next generation!

Couple points come to mind...
It's intolerant to think less of the parent that buys that shirt for their toddler.


At least the pregnancy didn't end in an abortion.

You are right, that shirt is depressing.

What's to discuss about women that everybody doesn't already know? They get cramps at certain times of the month, they tend to get more emotional about shit, and they spend too much time shopping for a pair of underwear.

Women face unique issues.

Pregnancy.
Nursing.
Menopause.
Equal Rights.
Female Circumcision.
Sexual Abuse.
Career and Homemaker...

Whereas a man faces issues too and could have a forum devoted to male issues too.

Male - pattern baldness.
Prostrate Health.
Ice fishing.

And there are many issues unique to either sex, of that I am sure.

Not to be a stickler or anything OD...But women do icefish too...As well as suffer from pattern baldness.
