Harvard Law Professor Encourages Legalization of Internet Gambling on Colbert Report

Last week, Stephen Colbert interviewed Harvard Law Professor Charles Nesson, a leading advocate for the legalization of online poker.

Watch the interview here: Comedy Central: Colbert Report: Interview - Charles Nesson

We believe the federal prohibition against online gambling is another unnecessary government intrusion into our private lives. Whether or not you personally approve of online gambling, the prohibition is not stopping people from gambling online and does nothing to protect minors and families from gambling abuse.

I'm no fan of gambling but I can't understand why Americans allow their government to prevent them from gambling online if they choose to do so.

What happened to the Land of the Free?
