Mardi Gras is a good example; however, I will say that most hardcore Mardi Gras celebrators are just young people having fun and/or society's scum.
Why does EVERY gay pride event have to have shit like this [in the pic]? Why can't you leave that in the gay community? Is this supposed to make people more sympathetic to gay issues? Knock off the shit! |

Unfortunately, just like in other segments of society, not everyone acts in their best interests. Some people confuse being noisy with being heard.
My hope is that people will learn the difference as they mature. |

Points: 31,201, Level: 100 | Level up: 2%, 0 Points needed | | the gay pride parade here in New Haven is so family-friendly it's boring.
Only the parades in the biggest cities (New York, San Fran, Atlanta, Chicago, etc) has those displays.
In fact, our parade (and most OTHER cities' parades) is so ordinary, our local newspaper digs up outrageous photos like the one you dug up and use THEM in the articles about our local pride days.
