Boy!! I can't believe people like these who subject animals like this. Just unreal.

Like in many such cases, these seem to be a case of people who love animals but have a screw or two loose.
I was surprised when I saw the photo of the dogs. They appear to be well-fed and healthy. That will be a plus in trying to find new homes for them. So many times, in cases where there are huge numbers of animals in a home, the owners are incapable of even keeping the animals fed, much less keeping the premises clean or providing veterinary care.

I just wondered how they could have cared for that many dogs. 800 is a lot, even 699 more than Disney's spotted ones.

But she did not care for them alone. She was quite wealthy and had a couple of people hired to help her care for them.
How an elderly couple managed to provide even the most basic care for 800 dogs is beyond me.

That's the point.
They had food, but that's about it. |

Having worked for years with my local humane society, I have seen this sort of situation a few times. And I can recall only one instance where the animals had even adequate food and water And those people had only about 50 dogs.
The sheer amount of time and work needed to feed and water 800 dogs is mind-boggling.
