George Bush, The Lesser of Two Evils?
I am no fan of George W. Bush. Overall I think he's done more damage than good in this country, the PATRIOT Act alone is unforgiveable. However, the alternative after Clinton (I HATE CLINTON), was Al Gore. So my question is this, on 9/11, would you have prefered Al Gore or Bush?

I for one, given only these two as options, chose Bush...

You talk about how much Bush sucks as you put in a vote for him over Gore. Well why did you choose not to vote for Gore?

Your vote is correct btw

I don't like Bush, but I don't hate him either. I simply think we could have done better, but I'd sooner see my cat take office than Al Gore. And I think Clinton is one of the most morally devoid humans we've seen in a few generations.

I don't think Bush is a bad man, but I disagree with much of his policy, and I think he is too religious to be in office. I want the man I vote for to run the Oval office, not Jesus. When I want Jesus to be president I'll cast him a vote.

I see what you mean.

Again, I don't agree with 100% of everything Bush has done. Even though your vote is for the man you want President, you don't have to agree with everything this person does.

I think the President I agreed with the most was Ronald Reagan.

Ronald Reagan was a great American and was easily the greatest president this country has had in the 20th or 21st century.

His loss was truly sad.

THe thing you have to remember about Gore is he actually WON.

Bush is only our president because of Bush Sr.'s pals in the supreme court.

No no, he won the POPULAR vote. Unfortuneately (and I mean this seriously, not sarcastically) the POPULAR vote is not what matters. The electoral vote is all that matters.

I thought the recount said otherwise? I'll be honest I don't remember. No point in crying over spilled milk is how I looked at it. I can't go back and un-elect him.

Every recount showed Gore won Florida and therefore won the electoral vote. Bush is only our president because our government is corrupt from the top down.
