I don't know if anybody truly denied that we couldn't BRING democracy to Iraq, via invasion and then politically pushing it on them. As far as CAPABILITY for democracy in Iraq, I don't think anybody was technically "wrong". But as far as whether or not we SHOULD invade Iraq, in order to bring democracy to them, that is a LOT more subjective. Not an issue of "Bush was right", but rather whether or not you agree with Bush that our efforts were worthwhile. Personally, I think any such discussion better include the PRICE TAG for our efforts. I see a HUGE difference inbetween agreeing with Bush if *we will be greeted as liberators* and *the invasion will pay for itself* and *it will be over in a short time*... ... and the situation we ACTUALLY got... Of course NONE of those were brought up in the song either... And that crap about other dictators quaking in their boots? ROFLMAO! We are OVEREXTENDED in Iraq, with an invasion that cost tax-payers BILLIONS. I see no reason why any other dictator should quake in their boots because we LOGISTICALLY CANNOT TOUCH them at the moment. We lack the capability to logistically do so! And I see no evidence of ANY other "dictator" country, or middle East country, "quaking" in their boots and moving towards democracy because of all this.... I would go on, but I watched it last night (different time zone here) and those were the parts that stuck out in my head. And as a side-note, the song itself reminded me of a country-western song trying to be rock....
