When I first looked upon the topic of abortion, I was strictly against it.

In a class of about 20 students, my friend and myself were the only ones against it. There was actually one student in the classroom that has had an abortion because she feared she would not have the ability to raise the child. I mentioned why didn't you use protection...bla bla bla and then the topic shifted towards how protection is now 100% guaranteed.

Now people who are pro-choice, I respect your belief that a woman can have an abortion. But I would have to say this, ONLY AT AN EARLY STAGE of pregnancy. The research we have done in class was quite disturbing when I found out how someone who is (for example) 4-5 months pregnant would get an abortion. Pro-choice people may say it is not murder because it has not left its mother yet...But when there is brain signal detected at those stages...I simply see it as murder. If you want an abortion, get it done within the first couple of weeks. That is the only way I would support the beliefs of someone who is pro-choice.

The choice to participate in sex is the womans right to choose. The killing of a fetus cannot be condoned.

That might be the best response to this topic that I have ever heard. Banning abortion isnt about taking away womens rights, it's about preserving life. Every woman knows the risk they run when they have sex, so don't give me any bullshit about giving them the choice. When it comes down to it, it's just a lack of personal responsibility.

that's a pretty naive comment. Like its a woman's choice to be in control of a relationship. Its a woman's choice not to be manipulated by their partner. Its a woman's choice not to be abused. Its a woman's choice not to be raped.
You make it sound so simple. Life would be perfect if it was but it ain't. And you have no RIGHT to choose for them.

Choosing whether or not to have sex is not a risk so much as choosing someone to be your partner. Choosing to trust them, to be faithful, protective and commited, that's a risk but not one that should be left only at the expense of the woman.
If you'd like to think every man in this world is great and the women who decide to have abortions are just lazy and stupid then that's your own masochistic ignorance.

The "man" (I use the word loosely) is every bit as responsible for birth control as the woman. Maybe even more so.

They are called condoms and you need to use them.....everytime boys.

I say boys because a man doesn't go spreading his seed around unless he means to.

Before i attack you...by man do you mean..."you are only a man if you are capable of protecting yourself with a condom and not getting women pregnant" because im sure theres a lot of kids and grown men/women who still dont even know who their father is. To say that only boys inject life into random women is an inaccurate statement

I think he meant that a man will take precautions while a boy just doesn't care and will go in bareback,meaning you need to take responsibility for your actions which is what a responsible adult does.
