| Barbara Boxer for President in 2008 A Petition to Ask Barbara Boxer to Run for U.S. President in 2008 Barbara Boxer is the greatest American politician today. She has steadfastly stood up for the core progressive values of liberty, equality, justice, compassion, and truth, even when she has had to stand alone, and face overwhelming odds. When numerous reports of voting irregularities and fraud in the 2004 U.S. presidential election in the pivotal State of Ohio started to emerge on weblogs and 'dissident' websites, when the mainstream media utterly failed to report, let alone investigate those stories, and the State and Federal Governments tried as hard as they could to cover up the truth of what had happened, it was Barbara Boxer who became the sole member of the U.S. Senate to demand accountability from the Republican establishment by signing a Congressional objection to the certification of Ohio's Electoral College votes on January 6, 2005, and articulating those concerns before a national audience. When Condoleezza Rice was expecting a smooth and triumphant passage through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, it was Barbara Boxer who challenged her outright to admit to misleading the nation while taking part in the political campaign to sell the Bush Administration's criminal intent to invade Iraq, and advocating the use of torture against detainees. http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/boxer2008 | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Senator Boxer is a hypocrite. She condems former Senator Ashcroft for opposing the nomination of a black judge, and accuse Ashcroft of being a racist for opposing the nomination, even theough Ashcroft in his opposition cited specific cases in detail to support his opposition. Skip a head a few years to Janice Brown, and Senator Boxer is opposed to her nomination because she is outside the mainstream. She provides no details on how Judge Brown is outside the mainstream but she opposes the nomination. Lets see, because Ashcroft opposed Judge White and Judge White was black, therefore, Ashcroft must be a racist.....hmmmm Boxer opposed Judge Brown and Judge Brown was black, therefore, Boxer must be a racist. I have now just proven beyond a shadow of doubt, using Senator Boxer's own standards, that not only is she hypocrite but a racist as well. How about that supporting a racist for President, I guess it conjures up the good ole days for the Democrats. dmk Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles -Russell Kirk- | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I like her guts. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| She's better than Hilary! Did Hillary Clinton have an affair with Little Rock lawyer Vincent Foster, the same Foster who went on to become deputy White House Counsel? "There is no doubt in my mind that there was a long, ongoing sexual relationship between Hillary Clinton and Vince Foster," retired Arkansas State Trooper Larry Patterson said. Patterson, who guarded the Clintons for more than six years, made the new disclosures on the audiotape set More than Sex: The Secrets of Bill and Hillary Clinton Revealed! Patterson said that on one occasion, at a birthday party for Hillary Clinton, he saw Foster touch Hillary in private areas of the body twice. Foster "put his hands on her breast, and then walked back by, grabbed her by the butt, looked over at me and gave me the ol’ high sign and thumbs up." http://www.newsmax.com/articles/?a=1999/9/22/50645 We don't need anymore Clinton sex scandals ! | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I think the Clinton's have an open relationship and remain married for political reasons/power. It is nobody's business who they have sex with but them! --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. I think this is actually a GREAT idea - insuring that whoever is running against her will be the next POTUS. Boxer is a lunatic. Hillary Clinton without the brains, personality or emotional stability. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

House committee drops amendment banning two-tier Internet Verne Kopytoff, Chronicle Staff Writer Thursday, April 27, 2006 Business & Finance Symbol Lookup --Main Business & Finance Page: Stock quotes, portfolio, funds and more... --Small Business Center: A new resource for small businesses. Get expert advice, forms and more. --SFGate Technology: It's a high-tech world - - we just plug you into it... Internet carriers would have a free hand to charge the likes of Google Inc., Yahoo Inc. and eBay Inc. extra for faster delivery of services to consumers under a bill approved by a House committee Wednesday. The vote, 42-12, brings a two-tier Internet one step closer to reality despite the wishes of a broad coalition of Web site operators and public interest groups that insist the fees will crush innovation. The Web companies had hoped to amend Wednesday's legislation, thereby enshrining the status quo of "network neutrality," the catchphrase that has come to represent a system in which all Internet traffic is treated equally. But the effort failed when an amendment introduced by Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., was defeated 34-22 in a largely party line vote earlier in the day. Internet carriers, including AT&T Inc., have been strident supporters of upending the Internet's tradition of network neutrality and have lobbied Congress to make it happen. They argue that Web sites, particularly those featuring video and audio that require significant bandwidth, should be able to pay extra so that users don't have to wait as long for downloads. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Personally I cannot stand that woman, and Jefferson is correct in his assessments of what a gift her candidacy would be to anyone else in the running. | |||||||||||||||||||||
