Why The Price Increases?
Like it or not, it makes sense that the price of conventional motor oil has increased.

But why has the price of SYNTHETIC motor oil increased at the same rate?

Additionally, why has E85 (85% corn alcohol/15% gasoline) increased at the SAME rate as regular unleaded? The price of corn has not risen.

Thieving? Who's doing it?

Because there is a monopoly fixing prices and controlling supplies immorally?

It's not that "prices" are "increasing", it's that the paper is depreciating, and adjustments are being made.

Yes, the paper money that is being pumped into the system to pay for administrative incursions.

No, that's really not it at all. The two are not immediately connected.

Additionally, why aren't the prices of EVERYTHING rising at the same rate?

It's not automatic. It takes time for adjustments to work their way through the "system".
