I already stated she should have nothing to worry about. Fact is though politics get very dirty when the mudslingers decide that is the only way to stop a viable candidate. I can't blame her one bit for avoiding it at this point considering it has now turned into a claimed crisis by the opposition party.
I have fired people myself so I can fully understand how bitter some people can get.

Is improper use of authority by a female state Governor any less serious than improper sexual conduct by a male President?

Or should Clinton have refused to cooperate on the grounds that his impeachment was politically motivated by the opposition party and therefore 'tainted'?

In the case of Palin I heard that the Troopergate 'probe' was initiated by her own Republican party, the one she so bravely confronted.

McCain has sold his soul to the very people he detested in 2000. The Karl Rove offspring that are running his campaign now. So it will be more of the same, because if he wins, he owes them for getting him elected. Those are the same folks we've had running the show for the last 8 years. And those are the ones who will go to any means to win.
