Our economy is strong even though Bush has managed to send us into record debt. Hopefully even Bush can't put a nail in our economic coffin.

Our economy is strong despite Bush, not because of him.

Fast growth is only because it has been so damn crappy.

That's kinda funny, in light of the fact that all you Bush-haters have been screaming about how he screwed up the economy and ran up the defecit.

So which is it?

So which is it?
1) Bush DID run up the defecit, and raise the national debt. In that, there is no doubt.

2) This has a negative effect on the economy. Not saying it is enough to kill the economy, but it's kind of like a man carrying around excessive poundage which negatively impacts his health. He could be "healthy" otherwise, but the pounds are making him worse than he could be.
And that isn't the same thing as "screwing up the economy"...
And if you want to argue that a big deficit and a big debt don't have a negative impact on the economy, just say so...

3) WHO is this "all you Bush-haters" that are saying that he "screwed up the economy"?

Go post-hump Alias for awhile. You've got absolutely nothing to add to this thread.

That's cute.

But you're still backpedalling and making excuses.

The economy is GOOD - despite all you cry-baby liberals who keep saying that Bush has destroyed it.

Is your memory really all that short?
