There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

I agree with you. Another example of cultic suicide behavior much like Islamic fascism. These people had been brainwashed that the end was coming and that their leader was Jesus and they would be saved if they died with him in Armegeddon. That sure aint Christianity, that's a cult.

I saw the documentary a couple of times. It was pretty misleading about some things, attempting to make the ATF agents look like a people just wanting to go off on a shooting spree. Especially the flashbangs. The film makers attempted to make it seem like flashbangs were like grenades. It certainly isn't. By them meaning flashbangs were designed to kill the enemy without hurting innocents or police officers means that the flashbangs blind and deafen everyone in the room so that the entering officers can take down the suspect; not killing the suspect from the actual concussion. You would probably have to tape that thing to your head to kill you by concussion.

I found that the film made me frustrated many times. It played scary music when showing the agents or people arguing in favor of the agents like Schumer. All the while playing sad music while showing the church members. It attempts to impeach any justification by the ATF to enter the complex...even when it admits that there was more than a reasonable suspicion of stockpiles of illegal weapons.

The film acts as if the agents were supposed to roll over and just take fire. Even though who fired the first shot is arguable, the officers have the right to shoot first if they believe their life is in danger. Considering who ever was shooting from the building had a firearm, the agents must have seen this firearm and responded appropriately. And this is assuming the agents fired first which no one knows according to the film. And perhaps we could know if the film actually took the initiative to interview the officers that were present at the time and location that the first shots went off.

The only thing I agree with the film on is that the use of physiological warfare (playing weird sounds and other songs during the night, etc) was probably excessive. Although they might be permitted to use those tactics in an attempt at forcing them to give up. Which I can see the valid use of that in that case.

The film attempts to frame the situation as if the troops and officers outside the complex were acting in a military siege and wish to "destroy an enemy", and therefore their decision to stay in the building was warranted. But this is untrue, as the people inside have the ability to leave the building and put an end to the conflict the entire time.

Sounds like people now that have been brainwashed that Saddam had WMDs and the U.S. could perish in 45 minutes!

Many people believe that David Koresh (or the Branch Davidians) were responsible for the deaths of the 74 men, women and children who died in the inferno at Waco on April 19, 1993.
This is the story that the FBI put out. It is a lie. The guns they had were legal. The local sheriff investigated and found no basis for complaints against them. These were law-abiding American citizens, even if they thought differently to most other folks. They trusted the U.S. Constitution to ensure their political rights, but they were murdered by agents acting under the authority of the U.S. government.

Waco occurred under the presidency of Bill Clinton, with Janet Reno and Wesley Clark in supporting roles. Already back in 1993 the US government demonstrated its contempt for the American people by carrying out a massacre in order to "demonstrate" (on prime time TV) its supposed "authority" (a tactic favored by fascist governments). Following the usurpation of the presidency in 2000 by the psychopath George W. Bush, and the subsequent installation of the insane John Ashcroft as Bush's Himmler, things became much worse. On 9/11 about forty times as many people were murdered as at Waco. In both cases the murderers have so far gone unpunished.

What constitutes freedom? If someone decides you and the people your hanging around are a cult, should you go be arrested, sit in jail till you get a trial?

Whatever.....I just cant fathom how people who call themselves American or "liberal" in the case of Hevusa...can be such fascist bootlicking bigots.

It makes me sad that so many are unaware of what it really means to be an American....and to live in a free country.
