Anti-War Crowd and Fascist Islam In Bed Together
Al-Qaida’s al-Zawahri, American issue video
Suspect wanted by FBI ‘invites’ Westerners to convert to Islam
NBC VIDEO

• Al-Qaida deputy, American issue new video
Sept 2: NBC Investigative producer Jim Popkin talks about a new videotape released by al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahri, and the surprising appearance on that tape by American Adam Gadahn.
MSNBC

Updated: 13 minutes ago
CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida’s deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri issued a new videotape Saturday along with a man identified as an American member of the terror network, inviting Americans to convert to Islam.

The 41-minute video, posted on an Islamic militant Web site nine days before the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks in the United States, had footage of al-Zawahri and a man the video identified as Adam Yehiye Gadahn, an American who the FBI believes attended al-Qaida training camps in Pakistan and served as an al-Qaida translator.

It was the second time Gadahn has appeared in the same video with al-Zawahri. In a July 7 video marking the one-year anniversary of bombings against the London transit system, Gadahn said no Muslim should “shed tears” for Westerners killed by al-Qaida attacks.

I especially like this one. Reminds me of a few things I've heard around here recently. What can we think when a person says the same thing a committed Islamic fascist says?

Gadahn spoke for much of the video, saying he wanted to correct the incorrect image Americans have of Islam.

He described the West as “the civilization which enslaved Africa, slaughtered native Americans, fired bombs at ... Tokyo and (the Iraqi city of) Fallujah and nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

Wtf?
0) To state the obvious, even though some might still misconstrue it, this guy should be caught along with all the other members of al Qaeda.

1) And by "all the other member of al Qaeda", that includes bin Laden.

2) And to the main point, what the heck does this have to do with the "anti-war crowd"???
I see no real mention of "anti-war crowd" in the article.

3) The "anti-war crowd" is typically discussing the war on IRAQ.
This is about al Qaeda. NON-Iraq.

Are #2 and #3 just further examples of people confusing the issue?

No. You are confusing the issue. The war on terrorism includes Iraq. Iraq is the front on the war on terrorism, Osama said so. You are the one who is confused.

Listen to this if you dare. Click on the little blue speaker and listen.

When did Osama say that?
And what terrorism has Iraq committed upon the U.S.?

And why didn't you address the point #2?

I see no real mention of "anti-war crowd" in the article.

(I'll skip over #1 as I think we both know you have no rationale response to it...)

Osama said it, do some research.

As to the main point, my point was that this islamic fascist is saying the same thing the anti-war crowd says. "genocide of the indians, bombs on Hiroshima, the American government is a terrorist regime, etc". The anti-war crowd insults America and so does this nut job.

That is the point.

It doesn't matter if Saddam attacked America or not. That is not the reason we took him out. We took him out because he supported terrorism and was an unstablizing factor in the ME. If you don't know that, then I can't help you. How can you fight a war on terrorism and not take out a terrorist regime. Iraq is right between Syria and Iran. Do you get it? What better way to drive a wedge than get right between these 2 and work from the inside out. Brilliant.

Listen to that link up there. That's my dad.

Seriously. Asking others to prove your claim for you isn't sensible.
I'll take this as a sign you don't have what you claim.

I don't ask others to find my proof for them, and I see no reason why you do that.

I see.
So if Christians say Jesus is Lord, and the KKK say Jesus is Lord, then obviously that must mean something, eh?

Just because two groups have similar arguments doesn't mean anything.

At what cost?
What price in soldier life and $$$?
And to why the heck should Americans spend all that just to "stabilize" the area?
The reason I ask if they have attacked America is to give a reason why we should be involved in the first place. The reason we WERE SOLD on invading Iraq in the first place was based on their portrayed active threat to the U.S. and others with WMDs.

And now, that legitimate threat is shown as faulty, the question of why we are involved comes up again.
If a customer pays another company to do his taxes, invest his money, and balance his check-book, and then all they do is report check-book balances at the end of the month, we would obviously see how the customer might want to quit doing business with the company.
Obviously, the military action in Iraq is different, but the ideal of questioning our involvement in the situation and whether or not the returns justify the investment.

And that's ignoring the fact that it ISN'T WORKING.
You want to work from the inside out, but we have done nothing more than DESTABILIZE THE INSIDE. Iraq is in virtual civil war at the moment. We haven't helped to stabilize anything in Syria and Iran. We have succeeded in destabilizing Iraq.
