I agree, but we are taking steps to help out the muslim women in afghanistan and iraq. A record number of girls and women are now getting an education, wich was unheard of a ten years ago. The muslim religion as a whole are not violent, but some extremeists are trying to disrupt life in every way they can.

And lets not forget how they got their money.....and who protects the opium fields.

The Taliban were created as a "rogue government" to grow the opium for the international market.

Assigning them the status of "rogue" acts as cover for the UN Member nations involved in the drug trade.....and was done purely for PR purposes.

The US, France and England being the big three opium trafficking states.

I think the muslim religion is a violent religion. I've read some very violent parts in there and some very bad things allowed for women in the name if Islam. Here is an article from a fairly liberal publication. Doesn't sound like Islam is very nice to women:

Of Course. You can hear every day about those nasty evil Jews in the muslim schools in the Middle East. I'm sure you'd feel more comfortable over there. Ever thought of moving?
