Why would Brittish Intell want to kill Daniel Pearl?

1) Beacuse he was an unembedded Journalist who wanted to report on the Muslim perspective of the War on terror.

2) By killing Daniel Pearl it Psy Opd the public into believing that even people friendly to and willing to report on the Muslim cause were in danger of them.

Thus making anyone who thinks you can have a rational discourse with the "savages" appear as foolish.

3) It reinforced the myth that everyone wants to kill Jews because of their supposed race.
