I just read that.

Unbelievable.

If the whole this really is a "prank gone awry", this is unbelievabley horrible! But that's a big IF.

This is silly. If it was a prank, then why would Foley resign? Why would he himself accept responsibility for the e-mails and IM's? Why would he come out of the closet publicly?

Yea I agree. Foley also entered into a rehab. Why would he do that if it was all false??

Speaking as a former Washington intern (although not a page) it is extremely unlikely that any "prank" like this could happen. Granted, I worked for the Democrats. Maybe the Republicans IM underage boys and ask if they are horny for a funny ha ha, but I think the closest thing to a prank we ever had in our office was we sent Hillary Clinton's interns running after photocopies of a pointless letter. That, or when my boss brought a Nixon mask to work.

Political offices are still offices. There is a level of professionalism that must be maintained.

hahahahaha.. u know that's why people liked clinton.. i think it was good to see a president act human.

Actually, I think a lot of people like that about him because "he got away with it."

But again, it wasn't the blow-job that got him impeached. It was lying about it, under oath - in addition to obstructing justice during the investigation.

If he would have just said, "Yeah, I screwed her good and she blew me good." there wouldn't have been much else anybody could have done.
