these BRITS never learn from their history.. 3 times they tried to invade afghanistan in the past but they were defeated miserably.. afghanistan was the only country in that region which no one could control.. but they are back now and fighting the same people today and are not winning BECAUSE AFGHANISTAN IS NOT IRAQ, KUWAIT, IRAN OR SERBIA...

They may live and die never reaching them,
but in the darkness of the night, those stars will guide them to their destination,
because they put them in their sights.

The Taliban seemed to have been able to control the country. Do you suggest that the Afghans who elected the Karzai government should just tell the coalition forces to leave so that the Taliban can come back?

aww karzai's government have to say nothing.. the talibans will be back in power if the coalation forces don't leave fast..

there is one way to destroy talibs.. that is to destroy their root cause.. there are 2 root causes.. ISI (pakistani spy agency) and international forces in afghanistan.. if these 2 stop interfering everything will be good..

Ludin, I agree with you about the ISI.

And I agree with the article that the fighting here is only getting worse. But the idea that the Taliban could ever beat us is ridiculous. They may discourage us enough that we declare we've had enough and leave. If these fucking dirt merchants don't want to improve their own lives, why should we be here at all? That's my particular feeling towards it. This whole fucking country is ungrateful. If they want to keep their women covered, and keep pounding each other in the ass on 'Man-Love Thursday' then let them have it their way.

I am sick of these ungrateful, disease infested bastards continually trying to kill us, especially when they do it when we are on a mission to deliver medical supplies, or food or some other mission of peace.
Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand.

Well... it kinda goes like this: Osama bin Laden was hiding out in Afghanistan.

If you can't figure out the rest of the story, then there's no point in even trying to explain it to you.

One... I have to assume that when you say "you" you mean the U.S., not me personally.

Two... You need to stop smoking the hashish my friend... The Afghans did not kick anyone out, they resisted until others lost interest. They resisted until the occupiers figured out that the country has no natural resources and the people are too stupid to be worth saving. Afghanistan is a huge shit hole. It's a thousand years behind the rest of the world in everyway a country can be. Why are you going to school in Canada and not the UNiverstiy of Kabul? Because the University of Kabul is a fucking joke.

I commend you on your desire to help your country, and I wish more Afghans get off their lazy asses and do something for themselves other than beg me for baksheesh (phonetic spelling, meaning 'gift'). What I fear sir is that you are going to learn the hard way that you can't polish a turd.
Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand.

We never wanted Osama.

Like he said we came at the invitation of the Northern Alliance, those were Osama's boys. He trained them, and lead them in battle against the Russians.

If we wanted Osama, we would have taken him out by now. He's been spotted numerous times, with the opportunity to strike, we don't kill our friends.

Osama is no friend of the USA.
