Man shot by police is not related to London Bombings
London police offical says that a man they shot was mistakenly thought to be connected to the terrorist bombings in London.

Do they drink near beer and go play golf
While they pick which countries to invade
Which Muslim souls still can be saved?
I guess god just calls a spade a spade

Human error is all the reason to take power away from cops.

That is the stupidest thing you've ever said in these forums. One mistake, and you propose disbanding the police?

Dude! He was pushed to the ground and executed. Not even given the chance to prove himself innocent in a court. Police should not be allowed to act this way.

Well, first of all, not just one mistake. I've known the Tucson police to be unnecessarily brutal (even in with peaceful protesters). Police around the world are only there to protect property and the interests of the upper/middle class; that's an undeniable fact.

Of course, it's too idealistic to think that any amount of power will be taken away from the police, but I can dream.

How is that a undeniable fact? That is bullshit to fit your propaganda! A good policeman doesn't care what working class you are from, they just serve and protect.

You cannot take power away from the police, you just have to hope they use their power in a possitive way, accidents will happen.
Godbless, Tadpole.

"Accidents" happen all too often to people who don't fit the description of a good, patriotic American.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate cops as people, I hate cops as an establishment; I don't believe I need cops sticking their noses in my business to "serve and protect" me.

You don't need a gun and a badge to help your community, you need a gun and a badge to scare people into submission.

If you don't have a problem with it, good on you. Personally, it scares me more than those evil, baby-eating terrorists do; cops are a bigger threat to my freedom than al-Qaeda is.

Oh I agree, this was horrid. But taking all power from police is not the answer. Sentence these cops to death if you want, or at least lock them away. But you can not take away the police.

Oh no... I assure you it's deniable. And I do deny it. Because it's not a fact it's an opinion.

Exactly. Well said. I am glad to see another voice of reason in this thread.
