Points: 15,649, Level: 80 | Level up: 81%, 201 Points needed | | A Special Forum Could some of the Techies here please host a forum with threads that tell how to do some basic stuff? I don't know why I can't embed You tubes here, even clicking on the prompt. And well there is a ton of stuff I could benefit from knowing how to do. Like how come I can't uninstall certain programs. It will come up that the uninstall log can't be read! How tricky is that! Plus maybe this could be a forum for sharing some pretty cool sites and stuff. For an example, where do y'all get your music from? Thank you for giving this some thought. Oh Dear

Level up: 22%, 98 Points needed | | Most forum hosts (Such as IBP, VBulletin, etc) have security features that block any embedded codes. They do this because embedded codes are how many hackers destroyed forums in the past. |

Points: 15,649, Level: 80 | Level up: 81%, 201 Points needed | | That may well be, David, but how come then there are posts here with embedded videos? How do they get them to stick on the page without having to hyperlink on the globe above the text and trying to figure out something telling to write so folk will know that there is something worth clicking on? And it even does say You Tube up there too above the text on the composition page, but it does nothing for me. Hmmm... But hacking would be an terrible thing to have happen. Once I had bloglines, and would get updates on a forum I would read at. And sometimes post to. Well, would you believe, I had to contact the forum admin cos it would show up as a new post at the forum but would say stuff about ...yikes! I best not say. Just take my word for it, it was inappropriately preying on the nature of men. So it is best to keep hackers from coming on board here, cos that is just what the forum admin guy told me had happened there. OD

You want to make sure you can see this:
When you click on it, it should bring up a window where you can paste the link of the web page of your youtube video. Once you have done that, you need to type in a Title next which is in between the tags. If there is no title, it will not work properly.
See this post for more detailed instructions. If the button does not work for you, you can manually enter in the tags: http://www.defendingthetruth.com/off...html#post63793 (Google Video and YouTube) |

My mother looks pretty young and everytime I take her to the mall or something, people think we are married. Customers from her bank would say, "That's your husband?" when she is talking to me because they all know her.

If any of your kids need help with their history or political homework assignments, do feel free to post their questions here for our input. I really wish I joined or created a political forum when I was in highschool...would of helped a lot!
Here's an example of a question that will appear on my philosophy final next week: http://www.defendingthetruth.com/phi...ers-think.html (Can computers think?)
Thanks to all the input, I think it can further help me when I get the question on the final |
