Level up: 36%, 111 Points needed | | The Health of America's Women! Abortion is a topic that is very hot and heavy in the United States today. The Bush Administration’s platform for abortion is that abortion is a serious issue that would not be taken lightly and should have restrictions: these restrictions include 1.) Abortions should only be allowed when the mother or unborn baby is in danger in terms of health, incest is involved, or in cases or rape 2.) Third quarter abortions should be illegal. ***There is a lot of uneducated hype surrounding abortion in America. Many people do not understand that the Bush Administration is not looking for abortions to become illegal in America, rather they are keeping the interest of the health of women of their country in mind and recognizing that abortions should not be given as a form of birth control and that there must be restrictions made on this procedure that is both highly controversial and sometimes life threatening. I am fully supportive of the Bush Administration’s platform on abortion. I feel that third quarter abortions are inhumane and immoral. Steps taken to put restrictions on abortion should send a signal to Americans to find responsibility in safer sex and for their actions in general. I recognize the importance of keeping this medical procedure as an option in our country; however, I am in full support of restrictions to be hopefully made. It is not morally right that currently in our country a 13 year old girl can walk into an abortion clinic and receive and abortion without parental consent, yet that same girl can not go to the dentist and get a tooth pulled without parental consent. It is important for the government to recognize this situation and take steps to better the overall health and morals of this country that is becoming corrupt by leftist ideas and an over-sexual media.*** |

Level up: 30%, 61 Points needed | | I've been pregnant many times and it was something that I wish I could have prevented. My abortion was a difficult decision for me, but I knew that I could not deal with having a child. My other children would not approve of mommy bringing another baby home. |

Level up: 30%, 61 Points needed | | Absolutely not. A woman does deserve the right to have an abortion if she thinks that it is absolutely necessary. But, I don't think that a person should be able to kill a living baby. Partial birth abortion is simply wrong. |

Points: 35,258, Level: 100 | Level up: 2%, 0 Points needed | | I completely agree with you. I actually debated with this girl who supported abortion 100%. She might of actually had an abortion herself but she said the woman has a right to choose no matter what. I respected her belief but when I mentioned partial birth abortion and how the baby is considered having ontological status (heartbeat, brain activity, movement, etc), she said it's not human until the day of birth. I think that is sick but maby that's just me. Quote: |

I definately do not support partial-birth abortion either. |
