Merry Christmas to all.
I hope everyone has a great holiday. Ty
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

A Christmas Poem
by Me

The snow was falling softly on the grass and on the trees
With little help from sudden gust, or steady winter breeze
It made no sound as it came down to blanket all in sight
Without a pause it fell to earth relentless through the night

When morning came the clouds had passed, the sky was bright and blue
The sun had risen o'er the hill, and warmed the scene anew
The snow was glistening in the trees, and weighing on the bough
Yet not enough to break a branch, they persevered somehow

Children playing in the snow, a snowman here and there
Their laughter brightened all around and echoed through the air
A snowball flying now and then that added to their glee
A Christmas morning to remember, etched in memory

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Merry Christmas to everyone. Staying home and getting visits from the kids. Mrs. Alia got some chocolates from Switzerland and some nice Columbia Crest Cabernet-Savignon to wash it down with.

I am sipping on my Glenmorangie.

Please drink sensibly. Stay home and get schnockered or spend the night.

Ho, ho ho.

Merry Christmas to everyone here!

And Indago, what a talent you are with poetic word!

Hoping everyone here has a new year of newly believing, even as the new compassion and tender mercies of God are realized as we wake from dreams in the morning and know the rest of nighttime after days of work and growth, and friendships on the journey of life.

Click on this quote from one of my all time favorite stories, books, movies!
Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see.

PEACE & LOVE to ALL

Happy Birthday JESUS, sorry your name is being used by the ilk that is ..........
Live the Light, Give the Light,
Bring Heaven to Earth Every Day!

I am not a human being having a spiritual experience, I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

The ancient Greeks used to say, "You shall know a man by the friends that he keeps." Given the nature of their friends and advisers, what are we to conclude about the Republican party:
Stop the madness before us it stops!
Σταματήστε την τρέλα προτού να μας σταματήσεϊ Greek

I-Child, it has come to my attention, that everyone is ilk to another group. Best I got it figured out,

We are all ilk that others view as the problem or the instigators of unrest and disharmony.

As an example, if we are for unity while maintaining diversity, then can we also in that diversity, embrace those who are against diversity in unity? (try saying that three times real fast!!!)

I am trying real hard when I write, and more so when I think, to not see my own thoughts and my own claim to Jesus as a monopoly unto my own ideals. Surely we all believe what we do... thinking we are correct. Which means we also think others are wrong.

But Jesus even said that the wheat and tares will grow up along side each other and we are not to sort them out. So I would say that your comment about the ilk that are using the name of Jesus, is a little bit of a way to sort out the wheat and the tares...the flowers from the weeds.

I don't have it all figured out, and I know I can shoot off my mouth as much as the next one, but I do sometimes have to delete and rewrite my own posts and sometimes stuff still slips by that might sound high and mighty and like I am a freelance know-it-all. And all I gotta do then is add the name of Jesus, and whew! If I just didn't play the trump card on that!

If I am even playing with a full deck!

But my guess is that we all look for a divine stamp of approval and often times it is in our own might that we stamp the name of God on our thoughts, philosophies, and political persuasions.

And the bible says not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit.

And I don't think I am any better or worse than the next guy, or the other ilk out there, and so what I do right or wrong, is what we all do at times and we all make claims sometimes or in some endeavors for God and apart from His Spirit.

If it is God making the claim, if it is truly His name going forth on our side, then I doubt that we even take notice of what the opposition is saying or doing.
