Deval Patrick loves illegals

Well now..Massachusetts has just gone crazy!

Check this out. Mitt Romney (R) who used to be the governor of Massachusetts, gave power to state troopers to arrest illegal immigrants so they can turn them into the Feds. Do I think this was a good idea? Hell yeah!

Now, you may have guessed it already; Our new governor Deval Patrick (D) reversed Mitt Romney's policy. So if a state trooper pulls over an illegal immigrant, he no longer has the power to arrest him.

This is just absolutely stupid. I should just drive around without a license and call myself illegal...You save tons of money by not having to pay car insurance, and you get away with so much more in court by paying just a $100 fine for not having your license on you. How do I know this, well the other day I was in court and there were well over 10 people who were there because they didn't have their drivers license on them. They were all excused with a $100 fine. More than half could hardly speak any English.

Thank you Deval Patrick! You make living in Massachusetts a much greater place for illegals than actual citizens who pay taxes. Thank you. It's really fair! Seriously.

Did he give a reason for reversing it?

The only thing is, how were troopers supposed to know they were illegals? I understand they could be fined for driving without licenses - but do they have some kind of direct hook up with INS?

If a car is not registered, the driver does not have insurance, and he/she does not have a license, well then they are brought to the station while their car is being towed. I assume they can look them up from the station to see if they are illegal or not.
