Best position
When I really look into it...When someone asks whether you are a democrat or a republican...the best position to take is right in the middle. You won't get bashed by either side and you can choose to vote whichever is the best of the two candidates.

Well..I have also seen some many republicans and democrats who are either very far right or left and state they are just in the middle...and they don't get insulted as much lol..

The Independents got it easy At least that is my opinion

I think independents have an uphill battle. Not easy at all. The system is completely locked up. 3rd parties have not even won an electoral vote in DECADES. Democracy??? Not even close.

Is there an independent party? I am registered independent mostly because I tend to not agree 100% with either party, and it allows me to vote the primary how ever I choose.

join me in the middle, on the fence

While my views are central to European standards, I am to the left of left in this country.

This country would be more fair and balanced if we had about 6 parties total. This would represent the diverse views of our 300 million people.

You should start the "fence party"

Out of all the senators in Congress, their is one person who is independent. So their is an independent party. As for registering yourself as an independent..I'm not sure.

Might be somewhere on this page:

Independent means just that, as in no party affiliation

Some web sites claim it is a party but what you said makes sense. So I am not entirely sure.

And these other parties get how much coverage from the centralized media system?
