Debate at the shop
Well I was working one day and jisabelle, a dog that comes in to visit us somedays, was eating chocolate chip cookies. My friend at the shop grabbed them right away and threw them out. I was like...wtf the dog was enjoying that.

He then said dogs can die from eating chocolate. Is this true?? I didn't bother to Google it yet because I want to hear your feedback on this. New stuff for me if it is true...

It is true. Chocolate is no good for dogs.
My dog growing up loved it though.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Chocolate is very toxic to most animals. It can kill some dogs, if they ingest a large enough amount, and if they are small enough, but most dogs will simply get the Hershey Squirts (Diaherrea {sp?}) and a stomach ache. It is substantially more toxic, and thus more dangerous to cats.

He probably would have gotten s tummy ache and maybe a slight case of the squirts.

We used to have a shetland sheepdog that would eat absolutely anything! The dog would eat his own dog food but would die for "people food". He would eat chicken, steak, corn, pork chops, pasta, bread, and many other stuff. He also lived a long, long life.
