America consumes 133 billion gallons yearly. Nascar comsumes about 369,000 of those gallons. I'm sure there are many other things that could go and have a greater impact on decreasing gallons consumed in America.
But I'm still sort of on the fence on this one. I mean it is completely wasteful amidst an energy crisis.
But I love Nascar

That is true. It surpassed football last year in viewer numbers.
